would anyone be interested in listening to albums together?

i used to be in a server where we'd take turns picking albums and sort of do screenings but for music.. it was a really nice way to find new stuff & listen with more focus & intention.
we could use cytube if ppl are interested!

rip d'angelo... one of the great geniuses of the last 30 years of music
And yeah... I've been deep in D'Angelo mode since news of his passing, just gonna pass along some really great remixes I've found over the past week and a half:
lil'dave's Latin House remix of Spanish Joint, completely fucking sensational I couldn't stop looping it:

And a very silly but fun jersey flip of Lady by DJ Vivian Oblivion i played in my latest
NORMAL FOR GIRLS set:

The algorithm put this D'Angelo & The Vanguard live performance in front of me last night and it's fucking fantastic. Made my heart hurt a little. But look at the fucking Bloodborne-ass fit he comes in on:

I've been really enjoying this whole james K album recently. I think "play" is the big one but I really like most of the tracks on it:
Also really digging this production music track recently, somewhere in between like "Joe Hisaishi on a Beat Takeshi movie" and a psx rpg... I'm kind of enchanted by the "craft" nature of production music in general. I should grab this for my stream tbh.

I'd be down to doing this! I used to be big into listening to albums, it's all I did. but now it has become something that I have to save time for.
This past week I've been listening to Kaleidoscope's Flaintly Blowing from 1969.
I love the song The Feathered Tiger.
Their first album Tangerine Dream from 1967 is my favorite though, and has remained so for many years.
