context is that these are the prestige skins for getting everything on the battle pass and then continuing to get more levels. this is the flanders of a true gamer.

i have actually liked this fortnite season a lot, the springfield map is fun. buuuut it's kind of nuts that they made a whole-ass map to only use for one month? feels, uh. wasteful.

it's so incredibly maddening to me how they disney vault all this shit. simpson's hit and run 2 is out but you better act fast!!!

they surely gotta see how well this is doing and go for a new simpsons game in the style of hit & run, right...? at least a remake...??

the craziest part of this being time-limited is that the interest this puts on the simpsons is going to go nowhere. there is no more meaningful followup to this? i guess there doesn't NEED to be something to crosspromote but it is just interesting. i guess the logic was to follow up a halloween event with a treehouse of horror bit to lead into the simpsons season. with a new movie due out in 2027, it also might be another situation like when the disney channel aired fish fact segments to plant the idea of fish being cool into the minds of kids a year before finding nemo came out.

also they dropped tyler the creator in the middle of the simpsons season so he is forever going to be labeled as such. he's a simpson now.
